Hello!! I'm Katie, I am a licensed massage therapist, and a 2005 graduate of Northern Prairie School of Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork, formerly of Sycamore, IL. Since then, I have worked in a spa setting, a chiropractic office, and for the past 18 years I've been an independent contractor working with a group of other massage therapists at The Therapeutic Massage Center in DeKalb, IL.

Over the past decade I've taken multitute of continuing education courses to add to my toolbox of massage techniques. My goal as a therapist is to give my clients exactly what they need. I like customizing your massage just for you, whatever you need that day.

Now, more than ever it's important to readdress that if you aren't feeling well, have a fever or have been around sick people in the week leading up to your massage: You MUST cancel. I will uphold this same standard for myself.

There are other situations when massage therapy may not be suitable or advised including :
Recent Surgery
Contagious diseases, including any cold or flu-- no matter how mild it may seem to you
Under the influence of drugs or alcohol- including prescription pain medication
